Many people often see prayer as a religious practice, not a fulfilling pleasure – one that is a means of developing our relationship with Lord Jesus. Prayers enter God’s presence, access the strategies of heaven and release breakthroughs. Prayer is a divine encounter between you and God. The Encountering God Through Prayer workshop will share simple strategies to develop a powerful personal prayer life. Reverend Irene Thung is the speaker through all five Monday nights. There is a $20 fee, and you can sign up under Events & Courses on the church website. Registration closes on 18 May 2026.

TPMC young adults ministry is going for scenic morning walk at the Southern Ridges on Saturday, 18 April. 

If you’re between the ages of 20 and 40, join them for a refreshing time outdoors.  

It will be a great chance to meet and connect with other young adults while enjoying a chill walk together.  

The participants will meet at Harbour Front MRT at 8.45am, and continue the fellowship over lunch after the walk.

Step away from the noise of this world and step into an atmosphere designed for one purpose – to encounter the living God.  

At the Encounter Retreat, you’ll journey through a rhythm of short, impactful teaching sessions, unhurried worship, Scripture meditation, and guided spaces of silence and solitude.  

In community and in stillness, you’ll learn to slow your soul, tune your heart to God’s voice, and cultivate a deeper hunger for His presence.  

You’ll also discover what it means to not only pursue God’s presence, but to carry His presence into the world—into your home, your workplace, your neighbourhood, and every place He has positioned you to be salt and light.

The cost is $160 per person for a single room, and $120 per person for twin sharing, to cover all meals and accommodation.
