It is now the 40 Day Season of Prayer period happening from 1st July to 9th August! We hope you’ve been tuning into the LoveSingapore website to bless our nation and nations in prayer through daily devotionals.  

And we are excited to announce that this year, Toa Payoh Methodist Church will be one of the 32 island-wide locations to hold the Day of His Power! It is an extraordinary opportunity to gather as a church with Christians around Toa Payoh and all over Singapore to pray for our nation. So do mark this date down, bring your family and CG members to TPMC!

In celebration of our 56th Anniversary, we are blessing some 800 healthcare workers in the Toa Payoh community!

A gift of $20 sponsors each healthcare worker, under the Project Tribute. If you would like to contribute to blessing healthcare workers, scan the QR code and indicate “TPMC56” under Reference.

Our target is to raise $12,000 to bless the healthcare workers. Any excess collected will go to the church general offering.

And couples, are you planning to get married? Then consider joining the Alpha Pre-Marriage Course! This is a course designed to help couples build a strong foundation for a lasting, fulfilling marriage.   

Held over five evenings, you will both learn to communicate, understand and appreciate your differences, as well as to prepare for potential challenges together. Register by scanning the QR code or visit our website for more details.

If you’re new to TPMC, Social Sip is a gathering of our young adults community in the Welcome Lounge, where meaningful conversations take place over coffee and snacks.

So if you’re a young adult aged between 20 and 40, come join us, Social Sip will be happening from 12 noon to 1 pm at the Welcome Lounge, right after the 10.30am service this Sunday. See you there!

Church membership is our expression to commit to love our church, serve one another and be involved in the mission of TPMC. Application for TPMC membership or membership transfer is now open. 

There are two preparation modules as part of your membership application process. These courses are the two mentioned earlier, that is, Developing Your SHAPE to Serve Others and Step Up courses.

Upon completion, your Baptism and Membership reception service will be on 15 November at the 10.30am service. Do sign up before 9 August. If you need more information, please speak to TPMC pastoral staff, Agnes Goh.

How to Apply:

• Complete the application form for membership here and you will automatically be registered for the necessary membership preparation courses (Step Up and SHAPE Courses. Please take note of the dates as follows).
• Closing date for membership application: 9 August 2026

Course Dates:

• SHAPE Course – 22 & 29 August 2026 (Saturdays), 9am – 12pm
• Step Up Course – 5, 12, 19, 26 September 2026 (Saturdays), 10am – 12pm || and 3 October 2026, 9am – 12pm

Step Up in discipleship for a Wesleyan understanding of our growth in God’s love and grace, and what it means to be called a Methodist.  

The Step Up Course will provide you a meaningful journey into our Methodist heritage, story and identity as we unpack the history, polity, doctrine, spirit and discipline of the people called Methodist. Come and recapture the heartbeat of the early Methodists: to encounter God, follow Christ and love others.   

The next Membership Reception Service will be held on 15 November 2026 at 10.30am service.

Closing Date: 9 August (Sunday)

Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” God gives you spiritual gifts because He wants you to be equipped to do His good works. But do you know how you are gifted? What are you passionate about and how are you energised? How can you discern where God is leading you to serve in His kingdom? Sign up for fun, fellowship and most of all, to follow in Christ’s footsteps to serve others, as you discover the unique ways God has prepared for you to serve and bring glory to Him. This course is also a core module for membership application. If you would like to apply for membership or transfer to TPMC this year, do sign up for this SHAPE course as part of your membership application process.
