Lent Reflection & Fasting
The season of Lent, which ends on Holy Saturday 19 April, reminds Christians of Jesus’ instruction to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.
It is a season when we strengthen and deepen our faith in Jesus through prayer, fasting and doing works of mercy towards others.
Every Monday to Friday during this Lent Season, we will share our reflections from our devotional time of our readings from Lectio365. These will be posted on our social media platforms at mid-day.
We encourage you to pause and join us in reflection through the Lectio365 devotion and prayer at mid-day.
Let us also practice the spiritual discipline of fasting from food for that meal and focus on prayer. As for the money that would have been spent on that meal, you can set it aside as an offering to give towards works of mercy.
Let’s do this as a church and give towards The Methodist Church in Singapore, as we celebrate 140 years of Methodism in Singapore. MCS hopes to raise $1.4 million to bless 1,000 needy families.
For E-Giving, please indicate “MCS140” in the reference section, or you can put the money in an envelope and mark “MCS140” and place it in the offering bag during our
Sunday Services.
We also have a Lenten Fasting and Prayer Guide which you can download here.

Church Camp 2025
Our church camp is back this year!
It is called Disciples@TPMC Camp 2025, in line with our church’s focus on Disciples@TPMC. We are blessed to have Pastor Benny Ho – who has a deep passion to teach about discipleship – as our camp preacher; so the camp promises to be a time to really explore how to be a disciple of Christ. As we learn to Be Like Christ, we can also encounter God during the camp, and enjoy extended time of fellowship with our church family.
Dates: 13-16 June, 2025
Venue: Courtyard Melaka
So sign up, and we’ll see you in Melaka!

Discipleship & Nurture Courses
To help us in our discipleship journey to Be Like Christ, the Discipleship & Nurture ministry has planned various exciting growth initiatives for us. The list of courses for the whole year can be found under “Discipleship & Nurture” for our planning and participation. Find out what’s available and put them in your discipleship learning and growth calendar for the year.

Blood Donation Drive
19 April 2025 (Saturday)
10am – 4pm
Toa Payoh Methodist Church
Every hour, 15 units of blood are used in Singapore. We need about 120,000 units of blood to meet the transfusion needs of patients every year, that is equivalent to more than 400 units of blood per day. So, blood donors are real life-savers. You can be one too, at the Blood Donation Drive we are jointly organising with Toa Payoh Chinese Methodist Church on 19 April. Mark down that date and ready yourself to donate blood because there are various conditions to be met. Visit this page to find out more and register.
