Rev Dr Kow Shih-Ming, Pastor-In-Charge of Paya Lebar Methodist Church, is passionate about preaching that changes lives, leadership that transforms churches & organizations, and spiritual formation that nourishes the soul. His passion has led him to train pastors and leaders in many countries in the region and to provide soul care and spiritual direction for church and marketplace leaders. Ps Shih-Ming is a trained life coach and has a DMin from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is happily married with two daughters.

If we want to grow in Christ-likeness, we need to keep feeding our minds with the right knowledge. Trinity Theological College’s Equip Courses are very good for this because they offer a wide range of courses that help us grow in various areas of our walk with Christ. Registration for the courses in the fourth quarter of the year are now open. Some of the available courses include a class on understanding liturgical worship; a study into the history of Christianity in Asia; and an exploration into the meaning and symbolism behind key Christian rites such as baptism and Holy Communion. Applications for TPMC membership, or membership transfer, is now open. Church membership is a commitment to grow as Disciples@TPMC to love God, love one another, love one more and love our church, serving one another and being involved in the mission of TPMC. If you are 16 years old or above, and worship in-person regularly at one of our services, we invite you to join us as a member of our church. You also need to be an active member of a Connect Group, and serving faithfully in a ministry. Preparation for membership includes a 3-module programme.

The next Baptism and Membership Reception Service will be held on 30 November 2025 at 10.30am service.
