Remembering the Fall of Singapore and the Captivity of the Church

15 February is Total Defense Day in Singapore because it is the anniversary of the Fall of Singapore where the British surrendered Singapore to the Japanese on 15 Feb 1942. Why did the Japanese invade Malaya and how did they conquer Singapore so quickly? How did the Church respond to the Japanese Occupation? Join us as we bust some myths surrounding the Japanese advance and reflect on how the Church can deal with adversity in war. The session will include a short Service of Remembrance and Prayer as we lift warring nations before God and remember those who suffered in conflict, then and now.
