Will you willingly give up the good life you have, to be humiliated, betrayed, falsely accused, whipped, ridiculed, tortured and mercilessly nailed to a tree to die for someone else? Not many of us can instinctively say yes, but one man did all that for you even before you knew Him.

Holy Week is the time we remember the pain, love and sacrifice of this man Jesus. He forsook the pleasures of Heaven to come as a man and be crucified for us, so that we will not have to pay the painful price for all our sins. By His sacrifice, and His resurrection, we are saved and have eternal life.

Our focus for this year’s Holy Week is the sacrifice of Jesus.

We will come together during the worship services to learn why Jesus allowed Himself to be betrayed, rejected and forsaken by those He love. We also remember His pain and suffering, and the salvation it gives us.

There will be a special Easter Kopi Time so it’s a great time to bring newcomers to our church.

The young ones will be celebrating too, with an Easter Outing to Bishan Park. They will be having a special Easter Egg Hunt and picnic.

The outing is from 8.30am till 12.30pm.
