MEMBERSHIP IN TPMC
Membership marks one’s official commitment to be a part of a local church community, and be involved in the work God has given her. If it is your desire and prayer to become a member of Toa Payoh Methodist Church (TPMC), you are desiring to strengthen its efforts, help more people know the good news of Jesus Christ, and change society according to God’s kingdom ways, through participation in the life of TPMC.
Members of TPMC will:
- Attend TPMC worship services regularly;
- Pray for TPMC and her mission;
- Serve one another and others through participation in the ministries of TPMC;
- Be connected in a small group community in TPMC;
- Give cheerfully and generously to support the work of TPMC.
These commitments are the pledge every member makes at the service of confirmation and reception into membership of TPMC and the Methodist Church in Singapore. We believe that such commitments will make your membership meaningful because, through it, you will experience what it means to be a beloved child of God in His family, and its accompanying fullness of joy. We rejoice with all who will decide to commit themselves to being members of TPMC.
Your spiritual growth and discipleship are important to us. To help you prepare to be a member of TPMC, we will share with you about the Methodist church, and TPMC values and culture, through the Step Up Course. We will then help you integrate into life in TPMC by finding you a Connect Group to be part of a community; a ministry for you to serve in to exercise your God-given gifts; and facilitate your encounter with the Lord in prayer and fellowship via a half-day retreat.
The following is the 3-module programme for membership into TPMC.

Dates/time: Sundays, 1pm-4pm
May 10 and 17
Module 3: Step Up Retreat
Dates/time: Saturday, 9am-12noon

Baptism and Membership Reception Service is on 21 June, 10.30am service.
